Car Repairs are Scary

 "Service Ride Control" has been coming up on my instrument panel for several weeks and I've been ignoring it. I took it in to my dealer to get it diagnosed this morning. Turns out the compressor for the level ride system has gone kaput and needs to be replaced it however isn't causing a safety issue so it can wait for now. The scary part is what else they found wrong during inspection. $2200 worth to be exact if they do the work. Yeah no thanks. I'm not denying the services are necessary but I won't get them done at your premium shop rates, thankyouverymuch. Guess I have some dates with Les Schwab and Ferndale Lube next week.
